1. Community Oral Health Officer (COHO)

Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Job Summary:

Clara Rosa Hospital is seeking a qualified and passionate Community Oral Health Officer (COHO) to provide preventive and basic curative oral healthcare services. The COHO will also play a key role in patient education and community oral health outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct oral health assessments and deliver preventive care services.

  • Perform basic curative procedures including scaling, polishing, fillings, and simple extractions.

  • Educate patients and communities on oral hygiene and preventive practices.

  • Support and lead community outreach programs and school-based oral health initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and report oral health trends.

  • Ensure infection prevention and control standards are upheld.

  • Collaborate with other clinical staff to ensure holistic patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Community Oral Health from a recognized institution.

  • Registered and licensed by the relevant regulatory authority.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting (internship experience included).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

2. Clinical Officer

Type: Part-Time | On-Site

Job Summary:

Clara Rosa Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Officer to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based care across outpatient and inpatient settings while contributing to the hospital’s mission of patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.

  • Conduct patient assessments and formulate care plans.

  • Prescribe appropriate treatment, investigations, and referrals.

  • Provide emergency care and support inpatient management.

  • Document patient information accurately in the hospital system.

  • Ensure adherence to infection prevention and clinical guidelines.

  • Participate in clinical audits and continuous medical education.

  • Collaborate with nursing, lab, pharmacy, and other departments for coordinated care.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.

  • Registered and licensed by the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya.

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (internship acceptable).

  • Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and professionalism.

3. Customer Service Representative (Front Desk/Receptionist)

Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Job Summary:

We are looking for a courteous, organized, and tech-savvy Customer Service Representative to manage our hospital’s front desk. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring smooth front office operations and excellent customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and register patients in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar.

  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and patient inquiries.

  • Process insurance claim forms and coordinate pre-authorizations.

  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records.

  • Support billing and cashier functions.

  • Ensure cleanliness and order at the reception area.

  • Assist with administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Health Records, or related field.

  • Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office and data entry systems).

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Experience in a healthcare environment is an added advantage.

  • Experience with insurance claims processing is a significant plus.

Preferred: Conversant with the Utawala & Mihang’o area
